Pediatric (Child) Physiotherapy

Pediatric (Child) Physiotherapy 2018-04-03T12:09:24+00:00

We aim to provide a friendly, professional and interactive physiotherapy service to meet the needs of all babies, children and young people from birth up to the age of 16 years.

It is important to recognize that children are not just “mini-adults” – a Physiotherapist must not only have specific knowledge of treating children and being able to interact with a child, but must also have a thorough understanding of child development and in-depth experience with the many varied conditions that present exclusively in children.

We have expertise in the field of working with children and their parents to tailor treatment to suit the child and their family, working to promote optimal growth and development or recovery from injury.

We have particular experience in the areas of:

  • Gait anomalies
  • Developmental delay
  • Neonatal development
  • Rheumatological conditions
  • Hypermobility Syndrome
  • Musculoskeletal injuries
  • Orthopedics, including rehabilitation after surgery
  • Torticollis
  • CTEV (also known as Clubfoot)
  • LGBS
  • Cerebral Palsy
